Macrame decor is so popular right now. Everywhere you look, you see gorgeous, boho-chic macrame wall hangings adorning the walls.
If you want to try making your own but you aren’t sure what supplies you’ll need or you’ve never tried macrame before, one of these macrame wall hanging kits will get you started ASAP!
When you first decide to learn how to do macrame, figuring out all the supplies can really be a challenge! I rounded up 10 awesome macrame wall hanging kits that give you everything you need to make some beautiful wall art without the guesswork.
Where to Buy Macrame Wall Hanging Kits
One of my all-time favorite places to buy anything craft related is Etsy. Not only is there an amazing selection, but you can also support small businesses which is always a good thing.
Sometimes you can find macrame kits at your local craft store and other macrame related websites. Weirdly, the craft stores near me seem to be practically devoid of macrame supplies, besides a couple of tiny rolls of string. I mean seriously, what are you going to do with 25 feet of macrame cord? I guess something small!
I really love getting macrame kits (and so many other craft supplies) on Etsy because there’s a lot of attention to detail and care that goes into the product.
Are these Kits for Beginners, or more Advanced Knotters?
Most of these macrame starter kits are perfect for beginners!
You’ll find a brief description of each kit and I’ll let you know which ones are the best macrame kits for beginners and which ones require a little bit more knotting know-how.
I think most of the time craft kits are more geared towards beginners, but there’s always exceptions to the rule.

Be sure to check out this list of my favorite must-have macrame supplies and where to find them. There are some really amazing macrame supplies available out there, and unfortunately, there are some terrible ones too.
I want to make sure you don’t end up with crummy macrame cord that smells like chemicals (like I have in the past before I found these better suppliers).
