I am imaging how adorable this would be on a denim bag. Thank you so much for the tutorial, it was easy to follow along and the tip about the fabric glue is going to save a lot of designs from disaster.

I wonder if the punch needle would work on other fabrics, like velvet blackout drapes.

You can either have the loops as the right side or the flat stitch side. If you’ll be washing the finished item, I recommend sticking with the loops on the front because it’s easier to apply a layer of washable fabric glue to the flat side just in case.
