Thank you for the pattern! As a lefty, I was able to follow most of the steps easily, but got a bit stuck when attaching the sides together. What ended up working for me was basically stitching it inside out. I folded the beanie so that the short sides matched up, but the inside of the beanie was on the outside, and my hook was in front of me on the left side of the piece. Then I went through the 3rd loop only of the front and the whole stitch of the back side (AKA the original chain) and did a sl st. When I got near the top I went through the FLO and then the whole stitch in the back for the sl st. After finishing the row I flipped the beanie back so the correct side was facing outward when sewing the top/finishing it. I think the result looks pretty similar (if not the same? idk this is my third crochet project). Hopefully this helps another lefty.

That's no problem! You can just add a couple more rows if you think you need to, although the large size will probably fit since it's pretty stretchy. Hope that helps, thanks for stopping by!

Im so happy i came across this pattern on YT today. I only have one question ? so my dads head is 24 inches wide ? ? so it’s like an XL adult. Would the large adult size be fine to make for him? If not how do I make it to fit his big ol’ head ? ? thank you so much for any feedback or assistance you can give.
